The range of white-metal castings was started in 1977 by DEREK ASCOTT. He later added the printed sheet and building kits, originally in black & white for you to colour yourself, but then later printed in colour. The range became known as “Aladdin’s Cave”.
In 2006, Derek finally took the advice of his doctor to “slow down” and put the business up for sale. As a customer of many years, I was pleased to be able to take the range over and continue to make it available to fellow modellers. I have also added new items to the range. |
